Edward Elf
A big welcome to Edward Elf
This week has seen the arrival of our very own class elf. Edward Elf kindly brought a book for us to share in Class R called, My letter to Santa. The children have really enjoyed listening to the story and were eager to begin writing their own letters to Santa. In the story the little boy shows true Christmas spirit as he asks for something special for his Mum rather then just presents for himself. That got the children thinking about what other people in their family might want for Christmas.
Our post office role play has taken on a Christmas theme and the children are enjoying being elves and helping deliver letters and parcels to Santa and all the children.
The children were inspired by the story and have decided to keep a 'Good Deeds' jar. We are hoping to fill it before Christmas!
